About the Band
Dubbed a "pop-rock powerhouse" by Hey Rhody and named Favorite Pop Act at the Rhode Island Music Awards, The Dust Ruffles are an award-winning staple of the Southern New England music scene. Built on rich multi-part vocal harmonies, vintage pop sensibilities, and dynamic guitar-driven storytelling, the outfit pairs infectious songcraft with a heavy, rhythmic punch.
Fronted by singer-songwriter Tammy Laforest alongside bassist Sharlene DeNardo, drummer Alvaro "Al" Diaz, and lead guitarist Anthony Palumbo, the band's four-piece live dynamic delivers a textured wall of sound that captures both the polish of a studio record and the raw, electric energy of an undeniable live act.
